The journey of Andal Model School is a story of hope, vision, and dedication. It began with a shared dream—a dream nurtured by a group of visionary educationists and compassionate social activists, united by their determination to illuminate the path of education for underprivileged children...
Spearheading this noble cause were extraordinary individuals like Abu Talib, Sri Tarit Baran Thakur, Sri Daraganath Goswami, and Shujaat Hussain, supported wholeheartedly by social reformers Ashok Lal Chandani and Subir Ghosh.

"In 1999, Andal and its surrounding areas faced a significant gap in access to quality education."
During one of their discussions, Mr. Abu Talib proposed the name “Model School,” symbolizing a prototype of high standards in education and character building. The name resonated deeply with everyone present, and in April 1999, Andal Model School was officially established.
INCOPERATION AND GROWTH
Over the years, Andal Model School grew in reputation and impact. In 2013, it was formally incorporated into the Andal Nazra Education & Welfare Foundation, marking a new chapter in its journey. This incorporation reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic education, community development, and the empowerment of underprivileged children.
